            Airport sign MoU to enhance their relations

       48  Al Qasimia University and the Sharjah International Airport

         Authority signed a Memorandum of Understanding  at the
         University ‘s headquarters to enhance cooperation between the
         two sides, within its efforts to enhance their relations, exchange
         knowledge and expertise  with the  emirate  institutions  and

         The MoU  was signed by Dr.  Rashad Mohamad Salem, Vice
         Chancellor of  Al Qasimia University, and Ali Salem Al Midfa,
         Chairman of the Sharjah International Airport Authority.

         The  MoU enhances  the  cooperation through conducting
         economic studies and  consultations  to develop the emirate
         economy, exchange consultancies and technical help, institutional
         support and development between the two sides in general and
         human and economic development and training in particular.

         Dr. Rashad Salem added that the Memorandum of Understanding
         will enhance the joint  work  between the University and  the
         Sharjah  International Airport Authority, stressing  that  the
         scientific and research collaboration is one of the most important
         aspects that Al Qasimia University seeks to provide as a leading   line with the directives of  His Highness  Sheikh  Dr. Sultan bin
         scientific institution in the emirate.             Mohamed Al Qasimi,  Supreme Council  Member and Ruler of
                                                            Sharjah, and Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi,
         Ali Salem Al Midfa has also underscored  the importance of   Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah in strengthening the
         the Memorandum of Understanding, stressing that it comes in   comprehensive development.

                 NAMA calls upon women to participate

                                       in Athena program

         The NAMA Women Advancement Establishment (NAMA) and
         the London-based  international  organisation  Global Thinkers
         Forum (GTF) have called for aspiring women from the GCC and
         wider MENA regions to apply for the one-on-one “Athena MENA
         mentoring program 2019” aiming to build a generation of female
         leaders and empower them both professionally and personally.

         The 2019 program will include 100 women by 2020, and gives
         its participants the chance to  ignite their career and  personal
         development,  by acquiring new skills  and expertise,  that will
         enrich and expand their professional and personal perspectives.
