In order to complement the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council
and Ruler of Sharjah, the emirate has recently witnessed execution of numerous infrastructural and development projects that
were not born of coincidence or improvisation.
These projects came after studying, planning, discussion and deep thinking to choose the best and most appropriate for the nature
of each region and its people and the tourism richness it reflects at the present time and in the future. They were meant to reflect
the positive features of these regions of Sharjah, being part of its originality and at the same time their association with present
                day modernity.

                H. H the Ruler of Sharjah wanted the human being of the day to be the focal point and the goal of the development plans. From
the early days focus was on setting up of educational monuments and the development of education. Hence the establishment
of universities, completing all these factors with a health system, health insurance, job creation for graduates and expanding the
development of government departments that play changing and renewed roles in a developed and civilized society.

This community is now integrated with the inauguration of road networks connecting Sharjah to the cities of the eastern region,
through the many tunnels and opening of projects in Khor Fakkan, Kalba and before them in Diba Al-Hisn. These are vital projects
reflecting H. H the Ruler’s care in providing the best livelihoods and quality services to Emirate’s citizens and residents. Also his
vision to evolve the cities to reach global level, investing their sites and terrain to be an outlet for visitors and a destination for
tourists as well as linking them to culture in many locations such as Al Kitab Resthouse and the Floating Theater on the Kalba
                corniche.

In this month's issue of Al Tijarah, we review the most prominent economic events in Sharjah, as the Executive Council of Sharjah
in its regular meeting approved the establishment of the Center for Voluntary work. We will read about the conclusion of the visit
of the UAE Chambers of Commerce Federation delegation to the Libyan capital to enhance economic cooperation, while we will

Sharjah, as the Chamber discussed ways to strengthen relations with Bahrain's Best Practices and Governance Program. Another

events taking place in Sharjah, while it is confirmed that the first edition of the exhibition "Eid al-Adha" was a success, attracting
